I saw Allegiant today and I quite enjoyed it. Yes, it’s far from the books. Wasn’t that clear based off the second movie?
Tbh, people hating the movie should take it easy. I get you, I really do but there are other things to remember like this had the green light from the author. People, the cast and crew, worked hard on this. Think of it as an AU; it’ll make things easier. Besides, you can go back to reading and making your own movie in your head.
And I also like the fact that there is no way to really anticipate the events of the last movie. It doesn’t feel like HP 7.5 where the cut seems so forced. It takes us to territory that is new and that’s a good thing in terms of movie trends.
It’s okay to not like the movie. Just don’t hate on the ones that do like it.
Was anyone else shaken by @swoozie‘s video Super Sexual Heist? If you haven’t seen it, he talks about an event where he may or may not have been sexually assaulted by a female friend. He tries to make light of it, in usual Adande fashion, but seriously. I was laughing at the start of his video and was livid by the end of it. And ofc the idiots of the internet call him names and say that men can’t get raped.
